1. Go for the full load
   Make sure you run your dishwasher when you have a full load, which will help to save energy, water and detergent.
2. Turn down the heat
   Most modern dishwashers have booster heaters to heat the water that comes from your home’s water tank. You can save energy by turning down the thermostat down to 120 degrees.
3. Air dry
   Simply open the door at the end of the washing cycle and let your dishes air dry, instead of using electric heat. You can leave the dishes to dry overnight.
4. Picking the right size
   A compact model is more efficient than a large one.
5. Keep those large appliances away from each other
   Do not put your dishwasher next to your refrigerator, as the heat coming from the washer will make it work harder.
